Dad: "I'm gonna get an iPad".
Emily: "... Dad, you wouldn't even know how to turn it on...".
Dad: "I don't give a fuck if I don't know how to turn it on. I just want one to be able to say to others 'I've got an iPad, and it's sitting in my room with my iPod', and because I've been so behind in technology and I want to be infront for once".
Emily: "lol, alright".
Dad: "What's lol?"
Emily: "Oh god... Dad, you're never going to be infront of technology, EVEN if you have an iPad"
Dad: ... "I'm Shattered"
Emily: ... "You only said that because I say it..."
Dad: "See? I WILL be able to catch up with the modern world".
Emily: "Rofl"
Dad: "Rofl?"

- Hi, I'm Emily. And to you, I'm just an average teenage kid. I easily envy others, and I often take things for granted. It seems as if I always take, & never give, and I always see things for the negative. I am too honest, and should learn to take my own advice. I hide my feelings a lot; and I often camoflage myself with a simple smile. I laugh at almost every little thing, and I'm too observant. I want the things that I know I can't have, and my dreams are way out of my reach, but I still have hope. I would like to consider myself mostly happy, but that would be a lie. I guess that's why I have this blog thing.
